Redcurrant Sorbet

How does this relate to jewellery and enamelling I hear you wonder. Well, the truth is I have been dealing with industrial quantities of soft fruit from the garden since the weekend. I had a really good crop of redcurrants and found this recipe that I thought I would share with you. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2206/redcurrant-sorbet
It is scrummy! I only used 120g of sugar and I also used an ice cream maker which I suspect makes the finished result much smoother. The first batch I meticulously picked out every scrap of stalk, but the next time I wasn't quite so fastidious because it all gets sieved out. Try it and see what you think. Two more batches and then I can get back to enamelling!
